This week my frend gave a link to web site about Russia. I thought "Another geographycal map.. yet. It won't be interesting for me". Five minutes later my second friend gave the same link to the same web site. "May be it's really interesting?" thought occered to me.

Web site "WOW Russia!" discuss the most populare figures, pictures and symbols of Russia nowadays. There are exist Olympic Misha, Preved-Medved, Nevalyashka, Rissian brides, Vodka and many others items.

I found map of moscow metro. Yep! I think age of this map is about 5-7 years. It's not ordinary map. This map is in Chinese.

Site fotki.com doesn't work correctly

Some times I need to upload new photos to web-galery fotki.com. Why I choose this site? This is russian offer unlimited space for photos without money for users from Russia. It's the main criteria.

But at night it is imposible upload files to the site. May be South and North America use the Internet and especially this web site? I think it is not big problem, but it is discomfort. In the morning it is no problem to act with site.

Business trip to Kazan

Last week I had a business trip to Kazan.

I'm an system analytics and program manager. The main goal of my work is to make decisions about necessity usage of Intranet web portals and to manage execution of all tasks. The result must satisfy a customer. This time my company sold Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 to Kazan State Technical University. And of cause it is located in KAZAN.

I wanted to visit that city early, but I had no free time, had no free money, etc. My dream was executed. I'd been there for 3 days.

It's very old city. Kazan was founded in 1005 year! Three years ago citizens celebrated city's birthday one hundred years old. In the center of the city locate the citadel. There are many small old houses around it. That was ancient Kazan. I like old buildings, especialy when thay after reconstruction. New buildings is made only in style of old city, old architecture. Some times it is difficult to tell the diffirences between old and new buildings.

There is leaving about 1.2 million citizens. Many of them seem to be calm and happy.

Intercourse among workmates

Today I took an interview from our future employee. We need superman for purposes of intergration some prohram systems. CV corresponded to reality. Competitor was a woman. She realy knew thing which described in her CV. She wanted to learn new technologies and to spend free time to analyze our actual state of affairs.

After an interview my chief asked me: "What do you think about the competitor? Can she replace a retired man? Can she DOES the same job? And can she DOES the same job as good as a retired man?". The latest question was very difficult for me. In condition of our job's chaos, in condition of our secrets of doing work, in condition of small management radius... I don't know what previous man did at work!!! YES! I saw his job description, but I don't know what he did at all. And now I don't know what job will be for new emloyee. It's a secret.

It's difficult to work, where situation looks like a circus: clowns (workmates), wild animals (bosses) and rope-walker (me). Imaginate: me in the air, above the cage with clowns and animals, and my main goal is don't fall into that cage. Every day action repeats.

I don't know why I haven't direct chief. I don't know why bigbosses instead of real work assign other type of stupid work. I don't know why some employees don't come to work. Today I accidentally learned about maternity leave of workmate. I think it's not as secret as atomic bomb to say every week about main goals at work, say about news in the department and in the organization, ask news from our life...

What do you think about real intercourse among workmates?

Realistic computer game

Sometimes I think about old games (not computers) when we played football, hyde-and-seek and any other games. But today there is come more and more computer games. Peoples live in virtual life all time, they get information from the Internet, plays solitaire only on computer. There is exist many stupid and interesting games (the biggest part of them are stupid :).

But I was amazed, when saw game "Crayon Physics Deluxe". It's something new! Realistic objects movies in real time and attractive appearance.
Main field consist of some objects like ground, trees, grass, rocks and so on. On the ground lie the star. You might DRAW an object and it will move with all rules of physics! Object in air fall down, object on surface slide along it, two objects push off from each other.
The main idea is to reach the star by your drawned object.

Photo a day seemed as easy work

Two weeks ago I thought "It is easy to do a photo a day". Today I could say "It's very difficult".

Our new emplyee leaved

New man came to our company previous week. He is nice, smart, intelligence man.

Two days (thursday and friday) I told and showed to him all information about his new company and new colleagues. On tuesday (pass 3 working days) he told "I'm leaving the job .... today. I receive better offer for a job". I was suprised and worried, because I had VERY great plans to do together with him. We have troubles with sytems: Microsoft Office Project Server 2003/2007.

I told about it to my boss and heard "I can't do anything. Don't worry. We will find another one.". That answer would be OK, but we have been finding intelligible and clear man for 2-3 months! I don't understand my bosses.

The start of Project 366

Two weeks ago I read about "Project 365" http://photojojo.com/content/tutorials/project-365-take-a-photo-a-day/. The main idea is take a photo a day!

I'd decided to start the same project. I think it will be interesting. Why I called it "Project 366"? This year consists of 366 days (leap-year). I have to make +1 photo. It's "Project 365 + 1" :-)
